Canistel: a good substitute of egg fruit

Abstract
Canistel has good export potential to European markets. Presently, it is an unknown and low demand fruit. Climacteric nature of fruits makes them decay quickly at ambient temperature. Fruits can be stored for long time at suitable temperature and relative humiditywhich makes the cultivation of egg fruit more profitable.
