Thar Pragati: new phalsa variety

Abstract
The phalsa variety, Thar Pragati, was developed at Central Horticultural Experiment Station, Vejalpur (Godhra), Panchmahals, Gujarat and released by ICAR-Central Institute for Arid Horticulture, Bikaner in 2016. It is spreading type, starts flowering in second year. It is regular bearer, ripen in second week of April, and gives 2.10 g fruits with 90.45% pulp and 20.12o Brix TSS. Fruit yield is 3.60 kg/plant under rainfed conditions in hot semi-arid conditions.Downloads
