Abstract
Andhra Pradesh is referred to as India’s
rice bowl and is one of the major agricultural
states in India. The Gross Value Added (GVA)
registered is 18.8 percent in the year 2021-
22. While agriculture and allied sectors
reported a growth rate of 14.50 percent,
agriculture alone witnessed a 6.30 percent
growth rate. With the increase in the
population, the demand for agricultural
products has increased day by day (Times of
India,2022).
