Effects of cypermethrin (100 ppm) and endosulfan (30 ppm) on macrophage functions were investigated by their administrationin the feed for 8 weeks in broiler chicks,. The functional activity of  macrophages assessed by nitroblue tetrazolium reduction test indicated a significant depression in number of functional macrophages in pesticide fed birds at fourth andeighth week. The reduction in active macrophages was more significant in endosulfan fed birds.Downloads
