Patho-anatomical abnormalities in the eyes occurred in 7.7% (119 out of 1540) sheep and 4% (86 out of 2150) goats. Thelesions encountered in the conjunctiva were haemorrhages and subacute or chronic inflammation. In the cornea oedema,neovascularisation, pigmentation and inflammation were the salient findings. Sclera revealed cartilaginous metaplasia in afew cases.Downloads
