This work was conducted to study the superovulatory response of FSH-P in purebred Sahiwal cattle. Eighteen superovulation attempts were carried out with follicle stimulating hormone on 8 pluriparous cows. The cows responded on 7 attempts (39%) with =2 corpora lutea on their ovaries. Mean number of corpora lutea recorded in the responding cows was 7.6±1.8. The mean number of embryos recovered was 5.72±1.90 of the total 34 embryos, of 11 were of good quality which were transferred to 7 synchronized recipient cows. Two cows became pregnant and delivered three calves with an overall calving rate of 27.3%.
