SDS-PAGE (sodium dodceyl sulphate polyacrylamide gel eleetrophroesis), SHCF (sheep hydatid cystic fluid)Abstract
The sodium dodecyl sulphate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) resolved the crude sheep hydatid cystic fluid (SHCF) into 5 molecular moieties having molecular weights of 67, 45, 42, 32 and 24 kDa with an increasing mobility. Thc hydatid cystic fluid was subjected to sephadex G 150-120 column chromatography and different fractions were collected. First pooled sample (Pâ‚) showed only one band of 67 kDa molecular weight (m.w.), whereas second pooled sample (Pâ‚‚) showed 2 polypeptides of 67 and 32 kDa m.w. and third (P₃) showed a 32 kDa m.w. polypeptied band on SDS-PAGE. Rest of the pooled gel filtrated fractions revealed no polypeptide band.
