The intestine of dog was inhabited by 2 morphological forms of GALT, aggregated and solitary forms. Aggregated nodules were encountered in small intestines while the solitary nodules were limited to the large intestines. Aggregated nodules gradually increased in size from duodenum to ileum where a long band like Peyer's patch was found at the ilcocaecal junction. Lymphoid follicles were indistinct in very young and adult dogs, but were clearly discernible in 2- month-old pups. Not much difference was evidenced in the total number of Peyer's patches among various groups.
