Abstract
The study was conducted to elucidate the role of age and season on the thickness of skin and its different layers in 3-breed cross female caltte having prepondcrance of Jersey in one group and of Fricsian in the other. Only the skin and dermis thickness increased with age. The parts affected by season were the cuticle and epidermis. Significantly thinner cuticle and epidermis during summer in JFL group indicated that this group might be beuer adapted 10 tropical summer than the FJL group animals.Downloads
