Abstract
The changes in concentrations of copper, zinc, manganese, iron, magnesium, sodium and potassium were measured in the corpus Iuteum (CL) of buffalo during its formatton, maturation and regressoin Maximum concentrations of copper, zinc, iron, manganese and magnesium were observed in CL haemorrhagicum. Sodium and potassium showed a maxima in mature CL.The concentrations of mineral elements decreased stgnificantly (P<0.05) in regressing corpora lutea. The functional significance of theseelements as related to luteal physiology has been discussed.Downloads
