Abstract

Electrophoretic properties of follicular fluid proteins were studied in 30 and 26 small (6mm diameter). 60 and 64 medium (6-10 mm diameter) and 20 and 56 large (11-16 mm diameter) tollicles of left and right butlitlo ovaries. The total protein concentratiun was higher in thc small follicles when compared to medium and large follicles whereas the a and P fractions of the globulins together with the albumin: globulin ratio maintained an increase in trend as the tollicle mature. The role of tollicular tluid proteins and globulins in tolliculogensis is discussed.
