The influence ofintermittent (IL) compared to continuous light (CL) on testicular growth and histology of birds reared under high temperature (30-35°C) was studied. Absolute or relative testicular weight were not affected by lighting treatment Numbers of spermatocyte, spermatid, sperm and total spermatogenic cells were greater (P<0.01) in CL than for IL, whereas seminiferous tubules diameter, epithelial cell height and lumen diameter were not different (P<0.05). CL regimen on weeks 4-8 old has positive effect on spermatogenic process of broiler reared under high temperature.Downloads
