Heavy metal contaminants in water-soil-plant-animal continuum due to pollution of Musi river around Hyderabad in India

The present study was undertaken to survey the extent of heavy metal contamination in untreated sewage water ofMusi river and impact of irrigation with this water on soil-plantmilch animal continuum. Values of cadmium, chromium, nickel, lead, cobalt, zinc, copper, iron and manganese were studied in milk, urine and serum.
