Histomorphological and histochemical evaluation following osteoectomy and grafting in femur of dogs*

The healing of the 1 cm gap created after femoral mid-diaphyseal osreoectomy and repaired by decalcified cortical or combination of autogenous cancellous bone filled in the medullary cavity of decalcified cortical segmental graft was compared. Healing in gap without graft served as a control. Histomorphological studies revealed progressive early healing with combination of grafts than others.Downloads
