Seroprevalence oflisteriosis was studied in 75 repeat breeder and 15 pregnant cattle kept as control by using standardized plate-ELISA and dot-ELISA using culture filtrate antigen of pathogenic Listeria monocytogenes. Seropositivity wasrecorded in 16 (34.6%) repeat breeder animals with titres ranging from 1 :200 to 1:3200 by plate-ELISA as compared to 28 (37.33%) animals by dot-ELISA. All the control animals were negative. Out of 26 positive repeat breeders, 13 animals
were treated with enrofloxacin each receiving 1.5g (i/m) for 3 days alongwith 300 mg drug intrauterine 24 hr post-insemination
while 13 untreated animals were' kept as control. Eleven (84.6%) out of 13 treated animals conceived as compared with none in untreated positive group.
