The present study proves the efficiency of ovaprim in induced breeding of L. rohita and C. catla in tarai region. It also proves that breeding of C. catla is more successful with ovaprim than carp pituitary extract. Successful breeding of C. mrigala could not be obtained in tarai region, however, this observation remains to be confirmed over the years in this region by conducting several trials.Downloads
