Abstract

Repeat breeder animals comprising Jersey (49) and crossbred (Jersey x Red Sindhi, 53) cows were inseminated along with intramuscular injections ofeither buserelin acetate or gonadorelin. The CR of 54.5 and 47.0% in Jersey and 50.0 and 42.8% in crossbred cows was achieved following GnRH administration after single or double insemination, respectively. In control cows, CR was 36.3 and 40% in Jersey and 42.8 and 53.3% following single or double insemination, respectively.
