Wound healing is vital for any surgical practice. Conventional method for skin closure by suture is time consuming and also fraught with increased incidence of infection. Use of n-bulyl -2 -cyanoacrylate for skin closure was studied and compared with conventional silk and nylon sutures. Intergroup comparison was carried out with reference to time required, infection rate, and cosmetic effects on the basis of clinical, gross and histopathological examination. Gluing is quick, time saving procedure with excellent cosmetic result, and hence it is superior to suture closure of skin.Downloads
