Double and triple therapeutic doses produced severe gastrointestinal signs. partial loss of body weight and leg weakness accumpanied with significant (P<0.01) anaemia.leucopoenia, hypoglycemia, hypoproteinemia and increased transaminase activity. Pathological lesions comprised massive toxic hepatitis. necrotic enteritis and toxic nephrosis and/or nephritis in birds.
