Serum calcitonin level in Marwari sheep

Serum calcitonin level along with calcium, phosphorus and magnesium were observed in Marwari sheep. The serum CT level was higher in pregnant and male compared to nonpregnant animals. Serum calcium and phosphorus levels were low in pregnant animals. Serum magnesium differed 11onsignificantly in 3 groups. In drought affected animals serum calcium, phosphorus and magnesium were significantly lower than that in other categories.
