Reproductive behaviour and genital organs in non pregnant and pregnant mithun (Bosfrontalis)

Female mithuns (57) were observed for external reproductive behaviour and examined per rectum for genitalia palpation including changes in the uterus and ovaries during non pregnant and pregnant stages. The study revealed that reproductive behaviour and changes in the genitalia ofmithun during pregnant and non-pregnant stages were more or less similar to that of cattle with little variations.
