Abstract

primary follicle showed a fluctuating pattern with the advancement of age reaching highest in pubertal and lowest in senile phase. The mean number offollicles and oocytes of secondary and atretic follicles gradually decreased as per increasing age reaching maximum in prepubertal and minimum in senile phase. However, the mean number of Graafian follicle and its oocyte showed a fluctuating pattern with enhancement ofage reaching maximum in pubertal and minimum in prepubertal stage.
