In-vitro egg hatch assay demonstrated ovicidal property CT with EDso value to the tune of 2.20 lUg CTlInl. On ilZvivo study in sheep experiInentally infected with H. contortus, there was marked reduction in FEC and larval development rate and higher Hb and pev values in animals fed with CT. It was inferred that incorporation ofCT to diet of sheep would help in reducing the pasture contalnination with resultant lower reinfection rate for effective Inanagement of gastrointestinal parasitism in ruminants in organic farming system.
