Abstract

Faecal samples of sheep froin farm and field flocks of semi arid and arid zones of Rajasthan were screened monthly for the presence of nematophagous fungi. Arthrobotrys oligospora was the nlost predonlinant in faecal samples collected from both farm and field sheep. Duddingtonia flagrans was isolated from 1 animal on a single occasion from the semi arid farm. Few isolates of Verticillium spp. were also encountered during the survey.
