Abstract

Incidence of urethral obstruction in different species of animals was studied. Caprines were the most affected species. In ruminants 60% cases of urethral obstruction were reported in animals castrated at early age. In cattle incidence ofurethral obstruction was 18.69% and mainly in males. In goats the maximum incidence of urethral obstruction was recorded during summer followed by winter, and rainy season.
