Abstract

The study was conducted to investigate the effect of different lahi fodder supplementation on total dry matter intake and nutrient digestibility in crossbred heifers. From the data it may be inferred that the graded level ofgreen lahi supplementation to the paddy straw diet increased (P<0.05)the dry matter intake as well as nutrient digestibility in crossbred heifers. Thus, the lahi fodder can be useful as a supplementing source to the straw based diet in early winter lean period.
