Abstract

As polyestrous animal that breeds throughout the year, buffalo breeding is characterized by geat seasonal variations. This variation in breeding ultimately affect the reproductve traits in buffalo finally affecting the econemics of milk productions. It has been observed that very few buffaloes come in heat during hotter period of a year. The heat stress can be reduced by providing a wallowing tank in the variety of the adult buffalo shed. This water bath will certainly nemove the heat stress upto considerable extent.
