Abstract

The National Agricultural Innovation Project, a World Bank
funded project was started to improve agricultural research and technology in India, with its various sub-projects and due emphasis on developing a mechanism of sustaining project activities beyond
the project period. The NAIP has been able to direct Indian agriculture to not only orient itself in being food sufficient but also
guided it towards entrepreneurship.
