Family Farming for Sustainable Agriculture Development

Abstract

Small Farmers Agri-Business Consortium (SFAC) links small farmers to technology as well as to markets in association with private players including providing backward and forward linkages. ICAR through its Flagship program, National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA), has demonstrated climate resilient agricultural practices including natural resource management, crops, livestock, fisheries and institutional interventions like custom hiring centres for adaptation to climate change.
