Abstract
Potato is very popular all over the world and is either used as vegetable or made into a number of products for use as snacks. In some countries it has become the staple food. But whatever, or in whichever way it is being used, potato has become an inseparable part of people’s diet all over. Potatoes are rich in minerals though relatively in small amounts and also contain nutritionally rich minerals like calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorous and potassium. It is felt, that in time to come potato can be a perfect substitute for other cereals in a big way.Downloads
