Abstract
The dual impact of population growth and climate change is making food security an increasingly important issue for India. One of the threats to agricultural production from climate change is the possible increase in the frequency, duration or intensity of drought. Eastern region of India is also threatened with adverse climatic condition which affect the crop production negatively in turn feel us insecure in term of availability of food. Thus there is a need to develop the strategy for cultivation of crop under adverse climatic condition to secure food for all. Development of high yielding varieties of wheat for different situation along with their modified cultivation practices under changing climatic condition in rainfed ecosystem of eastern India is one of the solution to satisfy the hunger of all the persons and provide food security to all.Downloads
