Abstract
Groundnuts are thus valuable resources. Groundnuts have various uses which adds to good nutritional value. They are less expensive, widely distributed easily cultivated, consumed and sold by the masses. It has many industrial applications. The groundnut oil is used as a cooking medium, and it may be processed into a variety of products. It is hydrogenated to give vanaspati or vegetable ghee. It is also used in soap-making and manufacture of margarine. Medicinal properties of groundnut can be utilized for the treatment of various ailments, heart diseases, diabetes and mental problems.Downloads
