Abstract

Climate change is widely considered to be one of the greatest challenges to modern human civilization that has profound socio-economic and environmental impacts. It will cause increase in disease incidence and its reemergence and thus, adverse effects on animal health. It is essential to develop a portfolio of strategies that includes adaptation, mitigation, technological development and research to combat climate change.
