In the study, an estimation of expenditure for commercial production of misti dahi, enriched with whey protein hydrolysate having antihypertensive and antioxidant properties, has been attempted. The estimation was based on the assumption of 300 days of plant run with 600 kg misti dahi, and whey protein hydrolysate for addition, production capacity. Expenses under various requirements as land, building, manpower, administration, marketing, manufacturing, raw material, packaging, transportation, equipment and utilities etc. were estimated. Careful computation revealed the expense for 100 g cup of misti dahi to be Rs. 8.75/-. This was marginally higher; 3.43%; than that of control, that was estimated to be Rs. 8.45/- at the same weight.Submitted
